New: two new fact sheets to better understand and support caregivers
How can we better support caregivers who do not identify as such? And how can we help alleviate the sense of obligation they may feel? The Observatory answers these questions in two new fact sheets aimed at professionals and practitioners.

Projects to come in 2025: enlightening publications to better understand the reality of caregivers
The year 2024 was marked by important initiatives and collaborations for caregiving in Quebec. The year 2025 also looks promising, with many developments to come.
New website section: Caregiving trajectories
To support caregivers and shed light on the various realities of caregiving, the Observatory is launching a new “Caregiving trajectories” website section during National Caregivers Week.

Les 18 et 19 octobre derniers, une délégation de l’Observatoire a participé au tout premier congrès intersectoriel sur les proches en santé mentale, organisé par Cap santé mentale à Québec, ayant comme thème « Ouvrons le dialogue pour créer un avenir meilleur ».
Journée nationale de concertation en proche aidance 2024
The most recent edition of the Journée nationale de concertation en proche aidance was the first step in the consultation process to inform the government’s upcoming caregiver action plan, the Plan d’action gouvernemental pour les personnes proches aidantes 2026-2031.
