This year, the Institut d’éthique appliquée de l’Université Laval is offering three days of training (in French) devoted to caregiving, as part of their École d’été en éthique organisationnelle. From August 26 to 28, participants will have the opportunity to explore the ethical issues raised by caregiving in various contexts, through the reflections of several experts in the field.
Our team will be present on the third day, as speaker and panelist, alongside Proche aidance Québec, l'Appui pour les proches aidants, and the Bureau de l’éthique of the CISSS de Chaudière-Appalaches. This day will focus on the impact of ethical issues related to caregiving at the organizational and societal levels, with a particular focus on questions of justice and equity. We would also like to highlight the participation of Sophie Éthier, researcher and member of our managing committee, as speaker for the opening conference.
The event will take place in person at Université Laval. The deadline to register is August 22.
