A week to raise awareness about caregiving

Every year, in early November, National Caregivers Week offers a valuable opportunity to recognize the role of caregivers and raise public awareness about the diversity of their realities and needs. To mark the occasion, the Observatory highlights a specific aspect of caregiving through an awareness campaign.

Awareness campaigns

2026 campaign (current): Growing Up with the Responsibility of Care

From childhood through the transition to adulthood, caregiving can take many forms. Inspired by the comic series, “Let's Talk About It!”, the campaign “Growing Up with the Responsibility of Care” invites the public and professionals to explore caregiving at different stages of life and learn how to better recognize, understand, and support young caregivers.

The campaign will be available starting November 2.

2025 campaign: The Right Support at the Right Time

The caregiving trajectory is marked by a series of transitions that strongly impact the experience of each caregiver. The campaign “The Right Support at the Right Time” highlights these key moments in the journey of care, sometimes predictable, sometimes unexpected, and offers professionals and service providers solid guidance to support caregivers as their role develops, shifts or is redefined.
