The most recent statistics on caregiving in Quebec are drawn from a compilation released in February 2022 by the Institut de la statistique du Québec, based on Statistics Canada data from the 2018 General Social Survey – Caregiving and Care Receiving.
The Observatory conducted an age- and gender-based analysis of this data.
