This summary document (5 pages, in French) presents the findings of a doctoral research project on the experiences of Maghrebi caregivers in Montreal. The aim is to gain a better understanding of the realities, needs, and experiences of caregivers in a migration context. This knowledge is intended to support the work of community and institutional organizations by informing interventions and services, while also helping to reduce inequalities and improve the quality of life of caregivers.
The methodology is based on an analysis of the lived experiences of 14 caregivers of Maghrebi origin, taking into account the ethnocultural, family, and social dimensions that shape caregiving and support practices.
