This document (9 pages) outlines the process leading to the creation of a two-part framework highlighting: 1) the pressure points caregivers are subject to during a crisis; and 2) the interventions designed to support them.

The framework and its resulting infographics were developed in response to the COVID-19 pandemic, which exposed the fragility of current caregiver support systems. The document is intended to alert and inform policymakers, researchers and other key stakeholders who are in a position to bring about structural changes in caregiving support.
