This series of four one-page comics and their user guides aims to make the realities of young caregiving more visible across a range of settings by 

  • Raising awareness about young caregivers and the challenges they face (academic difficulties, stigma, loneliness, time constraints, etc.). 
  • Encouraging young carers to seek support by promoting both social recognition and self-recognition of their role. 
  • Normalizing conversations about young caregiving in schools and community settings. 

The comics are designed to address specific audiences:

  • Elementary school students 
  • High school students 
  • Young adults 
  • Adult care recipients and family members
