This report (14 pages) presents practical approaches to helping employed caregivers balance the demands of work and caregiving. It also looks into combatting stigma and creating flexible programs and policies to better support caregivers in Canadian workplaces. 

The findings are drawn from roundtable discussions between representatives from public, private and non-profit organizations. The report also includes case studies and recommendations to guide the implementation of best practices for supporting caregivers at work. 

Note: While the report’s findings are not exhaustive, they may serve to inform practices aimed at better supporting employed caregivers. The report was prepared by 4C Strategy for the Canadian Centre for Caregiving Excellence.
