This guide (35 pages, in French) was created to inform and support palliative caregivers and people at the end of life. As well as debunking certain myths, it addresses communication with care teams and the grieving process.

The guide was developed by a multidisciplinary team from the specialized, surgical and cancer services unit of the Centre intégré universitaire de santé et de services sociaux de l’Estrie. Physicians and health professionals in the Eastern Townships region also helped draft and revise the content.
