This short article (3 pages, in French) looks at the impact of COVID-19 on the caregivers of people with a mental health disorder (MSD) or an autism spectrum disorder (ASD) living in rural areas. It is based on a press review covering the period from March 11, 2020 to April 29, 2021. A total of 47 articles along with 13 websites and the Facebook pages of regional (Bas-Saint-Laurent, Chaudière-Appalaches, Saguenay-Lac-Saint-Jean, Abitibi-Témiscamingue) caregiver support organizations were included in the review. The article was published in the Réseau Qualaxia journal Quintessence (Vol. 12, No. 3, November 2021).
