This webinar (31 min) presents the Quebec government’s first action plan for caregivers, which covers the years 2021–2026. Arising from the related national policy launched in 2021, it lays out the government’s commitments in terms of recognizing and supporting caregivers. The presentation goes over the measures to be implemented during the period covered by the plan; its target audience is caregiving stakeholders in every sector: government departments and agencies, health & social services establishments, university institutes and community organizations. The webinar presents the national policy, then discusses the plan’s 61 measures as they relate to its four pillars and 12 strategic orientations. It first aired in December 2021 as part of a Community of Practice (CoP) on Caregiving event.
