This report (38 pages, in French) describes disability rates and characteristics among individuals in Quebec aged 18 and over who live with their parents. Specifically, it highlights family characteristics, income and housing conditions in households where parents provide care for an adult child with a disability.
The data are drawn from the Quebec Census Profile of the 2021 Canadian census. The findings are occasionally compared with the 2016 census.
