This research brief (2 pages) presents the findings from a longitudinal study on the effectiveness of measures (the Caregiver-Friendly Workplace Program, CFWP) to help employed carers balance the demands of caregiving with their job-related responsibilities. More specifically, the study examines how a CFWP intervention in the workplace affects both the health and job performance of caregiver-employees as well as as its economic impacts. It also compares the experiences of caregiver-employees with those of their non-caregiver counterparts.
