This report (78 pages) provides statistical indicators on the situation of Canadian caregivers in 2023 with a view to better supporting them through adapted practices and policies.
Based on two data collection methods, the survey combines the responses of 3,000 respondents who reported providing care to someone in the past 12 months. The data includes information on caregiver demographics and the impact of caregiving on well-being. Personal accounts from caregivers are also included.
Key findings are also available as infographics that highlight the realities specific to each region of Canada.
