This video (11 min, in French) presents two research projects focusing on developing digital tools to better coordinate end-of-life respite services. The first, a mobile app called iRespite Services iRépit, puts users quickly in touch with respite care providers trained in palliative care. The second, a browser designed to help locate and identify agencies offering respite services, will eventually be integrated into the app. Both tools were developed in consultation with nurses, caregivers and patients.

While the tools were still in development at the time this video was added to the portal, the project could serve to inspire similar practices.
