This report (31 pages) examines the experience of mothers dealing with the complexity of being “sandwiched” by dual caregiving responsibilities — i.e., simultaneously supporting both children and one or more adult dependents — while holding down a job.
The statistics are from an online survey of 2,000 working moms in the United States, 1,000 of whom had children in their households, and 1,000 who had both children and adult dependents in their care.
