This report (53 pages) presents the Australian government’s 2024–2034 national caregiver support strategy. It addresses the challenges faced by caregivers, discusses the importance of caregiver recognition and support, then outlines the strategy’s objectives, principles, priority outcome areas and next steps. 

The strategy was informed by consultations with over 1,000 caregivers and a scoping review.
