This report (171 pages, in French) on Quebec’s Soutien à l’autonomie des personnes âgées (SAPA) program assesses the entire continuum of care and services for older adults, including the support provided by caregivers.

The knowledge synthesis underpinning the report draws on four reviews of the scientific and grey literature as well as on consultations with experts, including family caregivers. These efforts led to the development of 282 indicators for assessing the quality of the care continuum. The findings will help ensure continuous improvement of the services offered by the Ministère de la Santé et des Services sociaux (MSSS).
