This series of papers puts lesser-discussed puts lesser-discussed or difficult topics forward for consideration by health and social services professionals who support family caregivers.

Volume 1 of the series, published between 2015 and 2018 by the organization Care Alliance Ireland, consists of 10 papers on a range of caregiving topics (e.g., intimate relations, stigmatization, the challenges of living in a rural setting). Volume 2 (2022) revisits some of these topics to update them and see what, if any, changes have occured in the time since publication of the first volume.
