On June 22, from 12:15 p.m. to 1:15 p.m., as part of the monthly conferences organized by the Réseau québécois de recherche en soins palliatifs et de fin de vie (RQSPAL), we will present a webinar (in French) entitled « Les personnes proches aidantes au cœur des soins palliatifs et de fin de vie : comprendre leur trajectoire pour mieux les soutenir » (Caregivers at the Heart of Palliative and End-of-Life Care: Understanding Their Trajectory to Better Support Them).

During this presentation, we will discuss caregiving in palliative and end-of-life care for adults, highlighting the pivotal moments and challenges faced by caregivers, as well as the importance of establishing communication and partnership with care teams early on.

The information presented is drawn from a literature review, a workshop with caregivers, and several working sessions organized in collaboration with Proche aidance Québec with a committee of experts in the palliative and end-of-life care field in Quebec.
