This report (20 pages) presents key findings from three roundtable discussions organized by the National Alliance for Caregiving in partnership with Health Leads. The main focus was how to better include caregivers in the development of patient-focused medical products in the United States.

Held in November and December 2021, the roundtables brought together health and social service professionals, clinical trial experts and caregiver experts, invited to contribute due to their key roles in medical decision-making and other health care tasks. Participants explored how caregivers could contribute more effectively to the development of medical products at different stages of the clinical trial process.
