This video (6 min, in French) discusses the importance of involving caregivers in palliative and end-of-life care (PEOLC) and suggests ways of doing so. After defining caregiving, it looks into caregiver needs and presents the three key steps for integrating them into the care-and-service continuum: considering, integrating and equipping.  The findings are based on consultations with health and social services (RSSS) professionals under a project led by the CIUSSS de la Capitale-Nationale seniors’ autonomy support unit. This is the fourth in a series of six videos on PEOLC aimed at RSSS professionals.
