This report (44 pages) studies issues related to caregiving youth and provides recommendations to the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) as to their support. It addresses gaps in the service continuum and examines how England, a recognized leader in supporting caregiving youth, supports these young people through policy and programs. 

The methodology includes a review of federal documents, a review of scholarly literature on young caregivers, as well as interviews with education and health & social services officials.
