This report (26 pages, in French) looks at the characteristics and experiences of “sandwich generation” caregivers in France — those who care for dependent children while also supporting a parent aged 60 or older who still lives at home. The document also includes a typology distinguishing six “sandwich generation” caregiver profiles.

The report draws on findings from the Capacités, aides et ressources des seniors (CARE) survey carried out in France in 2015.
