This report (53 pages) presents a snapshot of caregiving in the Canary Islands. It examines caregivers’ sociodemographic and economic situations, the conditions under which they provide care, their needs, the resources they use, and how caregiving responsibilities affect their quality of life. It also explores how they perceive social recognition for their role and the improvements they would like to see.

The report draws on data from 672 interviews carried out across the archipelago.
