This webinar (43 min, in French) looks at patient/family/caregiver involvement and partnership practices in pediatric care through the work of the Bureau du partenariat patients-familles-soignants (BPPFS) at the Centre hospitalier universitaire (CHU) Sainte-Justine. Its presenters are a patient-partner and a pediatric intensive care nurse from the BPPFS. The Bureau’s mandate is to support clinical teams and families in partnership practices and foster initiatives to improve care, services, research, teaching or governance as they relate to patient/family/caregiver partnerships. The presenters address the BPPFS’s creation in 2018, the concept of partnering in pediatric care and the facilitators and obstacles to implementing partnership practices between clinicians and patients, families and caregivers.

The webinar aired on March 1, 2024 in association with the organization L’accompagnateur.
