As described on the Laboratoire LaPProche website, this guide (51 pages) is aimed primarily at young people (ages 12 to 25) who have, or suspect they have, a parent with a mental illness. It aims to provide answers to the questions young caregivers may ask. Included are information to help understand a parent with a mental illness, support references, tips and stories from other young caregivers, and space to write down or draw thoughts and feelings. The guide was developed in conjunction with young caregivers as part of a Laboratoire LaPProche research project.
