This webinar (1h04, in French) explores the challenges of balancing parenting, caregiving and work among the parents of children with special needs in Quebec. The first part focuses on how these parents balance family responsibilities and interact with services. It draws on the key findings from the 2023 report Young children who need special support réalisé par l’Observatoire des tout-petits en 2023.

The second part examines how parents balance caregiving with employment, based on findings from the 2024 survey of Quebec workers conducted by Concilivi. The webinar concludes with recommendations for better supporting caregivers in the workplace.
