This report (226 pages, in French) and its summary (41 pages, available in English) documentthe experiences of individuals from ethnocultural minority backgrounds who care for someone (PAGEMA caregivers) in Quebec. Topics explored include the structural constraints to the provision of care and the barriers and facilitators to accessing services and support. Recommendations and avenues of action to better support caregivers are also provided.

The findings draw on a literature review and 37 semi-structured interviews with PAGEMA caregivers. The interviews aimed to situate participants caregiving experiences within a broader context, taking into account individual life paths, migration trajectories, family history and extended support networks.
