This special bulletin (20 pages, in French) aims to help caregivers cope with anxiety, whether their own or that experienced by the person they care for. Arranged as a series of articles, the bulletin begins by distinguishing between stress, anxiety and anxiety disorders, then provides an overview of current treatments and therapies. It also presents tips for maintaining a balanced life when living with an anxiety sufferer and looks at anxiety in the elderly and in people with Alzheimer’s disease.

This publication is more than five years old; however, the information it contains continues to be highly relevant for caregivers.

Note that in 2022, the Association québécoise des parents et amis de la personne atteinte de la maladie mentale (AQPAMM) changed its name to Arborescence: pour les proches en santé mentale.
