This infographic presents a breakdown by numbers of caregivers’ experiences using technology during the COVID-19 pandemic. Based on what caregivers think, feel and do, the findings show how using technology can help carers stay informed, obtain information, build relationships, keep in touch, access support and connect with health & social care providers. The data are drawn from two surveys. The first (Magnaye et al., 2020) asked some 600 caregivers about their use of digital technologies in care. The second (Embracing Carers, 2021) surveyed 755 caregivers in Canada as part of a global survey of over 9,000 caregivers.
