This research report (140 pages, in French) examines the support available to caregivers in Quebec, Canada and internationally. It consists of three main sections:
- An executive summary and highlights summarizing the project and the main findings.
- An introductory section detailing the context, objectives and methodology.
- Fact sheets outlining the support available to caregivers through 22 support categories. Each contains a definition of the category in question; a status report on existing services and corresponding measures; an overview of the related issues or challenges; and suggestions for improvement.
The report was produced by the Centre for Research and Expertise in Social Gerontology (CREGÉS) in 2020 in response to a 2018 mandate entrusted to the CIUSSS West-Central Montreal by the Quebec health and social services ministry.
