This publication (in French) presents the results of a survey conducted in 2022 with 5,181 adult respondents in Quebec, including 1,838 caregivers. Survey highlights are presented online as well as in greater depth in a 16-page report.
The survey provides information on caregivers in Quebec, including carer and care receiver profiles and the support services available. It was conducted by SOM in November 2022 at the request of carer support organization l’Appui pour les proches aidants Only data from caregivers who provide care for one hour or more per week were analyzed.
These data join the most recent population survey data compiled by the Institut de la statistique du Québec (ISQ), based on Statistics Canada’s 2018 General Social Survey (GSS) – Caregiving and Care Receiving.
