This report (15 pages) presents a descriptive analysis of gender among caregivers in Ireland, illustrating the distinct differences as well as the similarities in how men and women experience and provide care. It also sets out measures to help address gender inequality by advocating for a more equal division of care among women and men.
The findings are from a statistical survey entitled State of Caring 2022 involving some 2,000 caregivers in Ireland who responded to an online survey.
