This guide (40 pages, in French) is a roundup of promising psychosocial support practices used by professionals and organizations working with the caregivers of older adults in Quebec. It is primarily aimed at the community sector, but may also be useful to public and private sector stakeholders. The methodology applied is based on a literature review conducted by the Centre d’expertise en santé de Sherbrooke (CESS)‎ as well as on focus groups and the monitoring committee’s support and validation process. Promising practices are presented in the form of 19 components and 48 parameters grouped under three themes.

The guide and literature review can be downloaded from L’Appui’s website.

Note that this publication is due to be updated under Measure 31 of the 2021–2026 government action plan for caregivers.
