This online document provides an overview of the official Australian statistics from 2018 on aging, disability and caregiving. Included are analyses, tables and graphs presenting data on a national level along with related articles and other resources. The section on carers covers sociodemographic data (gender, age, employment status, income), core caregiving activities, reasons for taking on a caring role, and social and community participation. Led by the Australian Bureau of Statistics, the survey collected its information from people with disabilities, older people (aged 65 and over) and caregivers (i.e. of seniors, people with disabilities and/or people suffering from long-term health problems). Survey responses were collected from 65,805 people in total.
