For institutional, community and scientific stakeholders, an essential first step in supporting caregivers is recognition \u2014 not just the caregiver\u2019s ability to recognize and appreciate their role, but also the ability of those around them.<\/p>\n
During this webinar, the speakers will facilitate a discussion on what can be done within the Health and Social services, as well as within non-governmental organizations, to promote recognition and self-recognition among caregivers. They will draw upon a literature review conducted by the Quebec Observatory on Caregiving regarding the definitions, benefits, and challenges of recognition and self-recognition, as well as practices that exists, here and elsewhere, to promote them.<\/p>\n
Based on this work, four practices will be presented:<\/p>\n
