plays a unifying role, fostering encounters and exchanges between the many different stakeholders involved in caregiving who, together, have a wealth of expertise: <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Caregivers, with their experiential knowledge<\/li>\n<li>Practitioners and professionals from NGOs and the health & social services network, with their practice-based and clinical knowledge<\/li>\n<li>Researchers and other producers of scientific knowledge<\/li>\n<li>Elected officials and public servants, with their administrative, strategic and political knowledge<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div><\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n<div This spirit of cooperation stems from a recognition of differing but complementary types of knowledge \u2014 namely, scientific, experiential, practical and contextual knowledge.
