It draws on a compilation carried out by the Institut de la statistique du Qu\u00e9bec (ISQ) based on the Statistics Canada 2018 <em>General Social Survey (GSS) \u2013 Caregiving and Care Receiving<\/em>. The first part of the report looks at the demographic characteristics of caregivers based on age and gender (employment situation, relationship with the care receiver). The second part analyzes the support provided, again according to age and gender (types of support activities, number of hours devoted to them).
