British expert Dr. Saul Becker presents insights from studies on young carers in the UK and elsewhere, highlighting their implications for public policy. He describes their caregiving responsibilities and the consequences that may ensue. Various approaches to offering support in the current context are also put forth, as are the methods used in different countries to identify young caregivers.
