This <\/span>report <\/b><\/a><\/span>presents a Canadian research project aimed at better understanding the experiences and perspectives of both 2SLGBTQIA+ individuals living with dementia and their caregivers. It discusses the significance of gender and sexual identity in the experiences of both living with dementia and providing care, and provides specific, action-oriented recommendations to build and enhance programming, policy, advocacy and research.<\/p>\n

The report is based on focus groups with 2SLGBTQIA+ individuals living with dementia and their primary caregivers, as well as data collected during an online consultation event involving stakeholders from the fields of aging and dementia. <\/span><\/p>\n
