Recommendations for encouraging caregivers to engage in physical activity are also offered. <\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\"> <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">The mixed-methods research project includes a quantitative phase consisting of an analysis of responses to the Carers UK<\/span><i><span data-contrast=\"auto\"> State of Caring 2019 <\/span><\/i><span data-contrast=\"auto\">survey<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">, and a qualitative phase involving focus groups and interviews with 37<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\"> <\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">participants<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">.<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">It was followed by a pilot project designed to test some of the ideas emerging from research with 27 <\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">par<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">tici<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">pants<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">. <\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\"> <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">The findings aim to inspire national and local decision-makers to improve caregiver health and well-being and reduce the social isolation of caregivers by encouraging their participation in physical activity.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\"> <\/span><br \/>\n[\/et_pb_text][et_pb_button
